Services Offered

  • Small Animal Acupuncture

Our trained veterinary acupuncturist uses traditional Chinese medicine in conjunction with Western medicine to treat your pets. Acupuncture has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions including arthritis, allergies, and anxiety.

Our services focus on various types of acupuncture — dry needling, aqua acupuncture, electroacupuncture and hemoacupuncture as well as moxabustion.

Integrative medicine is best if used in conjunction with Western medicine so we do recommend having your veterinary records readily available to aid our team in improving your pets’ lives as much as possible.

    Initial pricing starts at $150.

  • Large Animal Acupuncture

Integrative medicine is not just for our small animal companions. Equine patients can also greatly benefit from acupuncture of all kinds. Now offering dry needling, electroacupuncture, hemoacupuncture and aquaacupuncture as well as moxabustion.

One of the greatest benefits of equine acupuncture is an additional treatment modality for common lamenesses in horses. General weakness, muscle atrophy, and more systemic illness such as Cushing’s disease, Laryngeal hemiplegia and chronic or acute GI issues have a high success rate with acupuncture as well. It is important that your regular veterinarian is able to send records with previous history of your horse to come up with the best treatment plan and goals from the very first appointment.

    Initial pricing starts at $200.

  • Hospice Care and Quality of Life Assessment

We specialize in providing comfort and support to you and your pet during the final stages of life—whether that journey spans days, weeks, or months. Our goal is to help maintain your pet’s quality of life for as long as possible, ensuring each moment is filled with peace and dignity.

When appropriate, we may incorporate acupuncture and other integrative therapies to ease discomfort and improve well-being. These treatments have been shown to benefit pets living with chronic conditions such as kidney disease, mobility challenges, cognitive decline, heart failure, and certain cancers.

As part of our care, we also help you assess your pet’s quality of life, offering honest, compassionate guidance when it’s time to consider euthanasia—ensuring that the decision is made with clarity, love, and support.

  • In-Home Euthanasia

Our mission is to bring comfort and compassion into your home, offering both palliative care and, when the time comes, gentle in-home euthanasia services. By allowing your pet to remain in familiar surroundings, we help reduce stress and provide a peaceful transition—honoring the bond you share.

From our first conversation to the final goodbye, we’re here to walk beside you with empathy, guidance, and unwavering support.

We will be with you every step of the way.

    Pricing starts at $300.

Contact for further information about pricing and cremation services.

*This is NOT an emergency service - if emergency euthanasia is needed, please contact your regular veterinarian or after hours care at Auburn University Small Animal Teaching Hospital 334-844-4690

Meet Dr. Hanna Lamb

Our team is lead by a skilled veterinarian, Dr. Hanna Lamb, with specialized training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine from Chi University as a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA). She is also a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and has worked in small animal general and emergency practice since graduating in 2014.

She has always had a profound interest in veterinary medicine, knowing what she wanted to “be” when she was in kindergarten. However through the last decade of practice, Dr. Lamb has discovered that there is more out there to help animals that surpasses western medicine alone. Thus, her keen interest in TCVM and her love of integrative medicine.

Dr. Hanna has a husband, Jake, and two two-legged children, Addison and Fitz. They also have three four-legged kids: Sprocket (Aussie), Mackenzie (Border Collie), and Pogue (the alpha/cat). When you aren’t finding her practicing veterinary medicine, you can find her rooting for her Auburn Tigers, running marathons (hence the border collie), or planning a trip to Disney World.
